This old hardback book is complete - binding is a little loose, but there are no loose, torn, written on or missing pages - cover reads JACK PUMPKINHEAD OF OZ BY RUTH PLUMLY THOMPSON FOUNDED ON, AND CONTINUING THE FAMOUS OZ STORIES BY L. FRANK BAUM ILLUSTRATED BY JNO R. NEILL - the top outside of the spine is torn/frayed as you can see in the picture.
I predict this book is going to start a bidding war.
The illustrations are wonderful.
Is it a bit of Cruikshank's influence I see in some of those illustrations?
