John Winsch Postcard (1913) with Halloween Verse

So enlarge the detail photos to see the funny individuality of these little creeps.

The Halloween verse reads:

"If Hallowe'en's a starry night,
You'll see the Gobelins in Flight.
Perched on their black Bat aeroplanes
They flit about the weather vanes!"

Note the strange spelling of "goblins" as Gobelins--spelled the same way as the Factory (Works) in France. Curious. Can't blame it on Spell-Check stupidity in 1913, now can we?
