Diecut Skull and Crossbones (Germany, 1930s)

"Heavily embossed and I believe he is one of a series in which the black hats differ somewhat. The diecut is very imposing and masterfully done. The German skulls or skeletons are uncommon when compared to the usual cats, witches, jols they produced."

"In Mark Ledenbach's fab book Vintage Halloween Collectibles(2nd edition), on page 164 (bottom right) it is rated on Mark's scale of rarity a "one" - which means 'Exceedingly Rare.'"

"Measures. 10 3/4" high by 9 1/2" wide."
